Quite rolling hills and majestic mountains mark the vacation region of St. Englmar in the Bavarian forest,that invites our guests to take part in one of a large variation of activities or just to relax. In the cold winter months, waiting for you on our own ski hill located in Grün-Maibrunn, glorious alpine skiing, cross country skiing, cleared winter hiking paths and above all a glamorous winter landscape with frosted tree trops.
Our 4 star superior hotel with its unique location 850 m above sea level with an incredible panoramic view, can be found in the near village St. Englmar. First class comfort and tradition presses through the ambient from our stylish hotel. The mixture from traditional elements and modern charme build the character from our house.
In the restaurants Ludwig II and Carpe Diem well created culinary creations from the traditional Bavarian kitchen to the light and modern kitchen,as well as the international kitchen are waiting for you. If you choose our half pension menu you have the choice every evening between an appetizer buffet with fresh made salads and snacks then two different soups and four main courses, as well as a dessert or cheese course. Even the vegetarian is well taken care of by us. Our large breakfast buffet and our daily changing cake buffet close off all the rest of your wishes until the evening meal.
Other parts of our hotel include our reception with a large glamorous lobby, hotel bar, panorama terrace and our boutique, The use of the internet and WLAN are for our guests free of charge. In the spring of 2006 our heart warming renovations to our theme rooms were designed with individual high quality to include a bathroom with shower, hair dryer, balcony TV and a telephone.
Our cosy country styled rooms morning sun or panoramic view we offer many modern furnishings and 40m² of pure pleasure to relax in, with generous and spacious living as well as sleeping rooms, a bathroom with shower or bath tub, satellite television, telephone, safe, minibar, hair dryer, cosmetic mirror and a writing table, also included in these rooms a swimming bag with your own personal bath robe, bathing towels and shoes ready for use.
Enjoy the wonderful energized spa with it´s bright panoramic view swimming pool(29°C = 83° F) and a Jacuzzi (36° C = 97° F) as well as 50,000 m² of pure natural garden, an outdoor pool for the summer months and a beach with beach baskets to relax in. In 2009 our renovations continued. Now waiting for our guests our new SPA mountain oasis with panoramic saunas, light-steam baths, mountain herb sauna, chill out lounge with water beds, sun tanning island, exciting experience showers and fresh mountain spring water. When you think you´ve got it all and done it all, then take some time out and spoil yourself in our professional cosmetic studio or massage studio.
In our region Grün-Maibrunn you will find many leisure possibilities such as Waldwipfelweg, mountain buggies, summer luge run, 8 different golf courses 30-50 km around our hotel, 125 km of hiking paths, 300 km of mountains biking paths and a national park with all its glamorous plants and wildlife. In the winter our hotel owned ski lift only a few meters from the hotel offers 830 m of pure skiing pleasure and night skiing as well.
